Mr Callum Faris

Mr Faris is a Consultant ENT Head and Neck/Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon providing consultations through the Nose Reconstruction Clinic.
Mr Faris specialist interest is in nose reconstruction. He is one of only a few Consultants in the UK to have been appointed as a NHS Consultant with a Specialist interest in Nose Reconstruction Surgery. He worked at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham University Hospital where he ran a service for complex nose reconstructions. In 2015 he relocated to Poole to initiate The Nose Reconstruction Clinic to continue developing his interest in this field. In 2017 the clinic was moved to Amsterdam where it is now based.

Callum Faris graduated with Distinction from St Bartholomew’s Medical School. He completed his training at King’s College Hospital London, Addenbrookes Cambridge, St Mary’s hospital London, Poole Hospital and Southampton University. During this period he undertook 2-year research at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge University.
In 2012 he gained a Diploma in Facial Aesthetic Surgery, from the University of London.
In 2012 Mr Faris was awarded the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery Funded Scholarship - The Joseph Scholarship – to complete a one year Facial Plastic Reconstructive Fellowship in Centres of excellence in Europe and North America.
He completed Fellowship in Nose Reconstruction in Holland, under one of the world’s leading Nose Reconstruction Surgeons - Dr Hade Vuyk. He completed a Mohs Skin Cancer Fellowship in Amsterdam. He undertook training in Facial Reanimation Surgery in centres in France, Holland, and USA.
Mr Faris has also undertaken a Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Facial Reconstructive Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
In 2013 Mr Faris was awarded the Claus Walter Prize for the highest score of all participants worldwide in the International Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Accreditation Examination run by the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery. (Click here)

Mr Faris was great honoured in 2016 by being appointed as the United Kingdom national delegate to the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery

Mr Faris has been an regular invited speaker at National and International Conferences and Symposiums for Facial Plastic Surgery. He has been involved in training and teaching undergraduates, postgraduate doctors, Registrars and Fellows. He was one of a handful of international experts invited to talk at the world’s 1st dedicated (Nasal) Nose Reconstructive Symposium in Germany in 2015.
Mr Faris is the clinical lead for the tissue-engineering group on total nasal reconstruction working at Nottingham University since 2013.
Mr Faris joined a relief team working in South Asia for a charity providing Nasal Reconstructive Relief Surgery to local residents with facial deformities.
